Note: An earlier version of this press release referred to “SYNA.OS” or the “SYNA.OS LOGISTICS Warehouse Control System” solution. Our product is now called “SYNAOS Intralogistics Management Platform (IMP)”, the warehouse solution “Warehouse Execution”. Both were amended in the press release.

  • Quick implementation time, massive increase in efficiency on the shop floor
  • SYNAOS CEO Wolfgang Hackenberg: “The SYNAOS IMP for virtually everyone
    E-commerce companies highly relevant”
  • CONNOX managing director Thilo Haas: “The result went beyond original
    Beyond requirements”
  • An important component in SYNAOS' vision of holistic intralogistics
    Management Platform

Hanover, May 11, 2022. SYNAOS, a leading provider of software-based intralogistics solutions, is now also offering its SYNAOS Intralogistics Management Platform (IMP) platform as a warehouse execution, thus expanding its field of business into e-commerce. For Connox GmbH, one of the most successful European online shops for high-quality home design, SYNAOS implemented its real-time warehouse control solution in the new 50,000 square meter warehouse in Hanover-Laatzen. By shortening implementation times for users and eliminating potential sources of error, this door-2-door solution immediately increases efficiency in the flow of goods.

After expanding its logistics space in Laatzen to 50,000 square meters -
an area of seven soccer fields - was Connox looking for a
scalable complete solution for coordinating all material flows and
means of transport for his intralogistics. In addition to synchronization and simplification
of existing processes, the new software also had to be able to handle the large

quickly convinced by their extremely intuitive and self-explanatory
user interface.

SYNAOS co-founder and CEO Dr. Wolfgang Hackenberg emphasizes: “We are very proud to have Connox, one of the absolute top players on the web for designer furniture and home accessories, among our customers. We have developed our SYNAOS IMP Warehouse Execution specifically for e-commerce companies so that these innovative and fast-growing companies also benefit from the same advanced processes as our automotive customers already do. Our solutions focus on significant efficiency improvements for our customers — regardless of which industrial vertical is involved. We take a holistic view of intralogistics and have set ourselves the goal of revolutionizing all industries through software support. Our standardized, scalable process solution pushes the previous limits of e-commerce intralogistics. This makes our platform highly relevant for virtually every e-commerce company. ”

CONNOX founder and managing director Thilo Haas: “As an e-commerce company, it is particularly important for us to manage our order flow efficiently and without major disruptions. Our rapid growth presents us with completely new challenges, particularly in the area of logistics. The implementation of SYNAOS Warehouse Execution not only led to the expected result of a door-2-door solution for our warehouse in Hanover-Laatzen, but as a result even went beyond the original requirements: By shortening implementation times for users and reducing errors caused by misunderstandings and unclear processes, we are already seeing significantly improved efficiency levels shortly after implementation. And the exciting thing is: We're just getting started. ”

Connox is currently planning its second warehouse and would like to use SYNAOS as an enterprise solution across locations as well.

With its warehouse execution, SYNAOS is adding another important component to its vision of a holistic intralogistics management platform based on Mobile Robot Fleet Management, as is already being used successfully by Volkswagen and ZF, for example. Especially such a dynamic sector as e-commerce with constantly increasing expectations from end users has massive potential. SYNAOS' warehouse execution is already significantly improving the situation in warehouses. Thanks to continuous development of the platform, SYNAOS customers will benefit from unforeseen new opportunities in the future.
