The challenge
When marketing its AI-controlled warehouse robots, TÜNKERS often faced the same initial situation: A customer was looking for a manufacturer-independent intralogistics fleet solution that would allow him to remain flexible even after implementing the TÜNKERS robots. Until now, there has been a lack of a field-tested, high-performance software solution guaranteeing future-proofness.
The solution
When speaking with customers, TÜNKERS not only emphasizes its many years of expertise regarding the manufacture of AGVs and AMRs. On the other hand, it is pointed out that – thanks to the interface based on VDA 5050 developed together with SYNAOS – additional robots serving other processes can be integrated into the vehicle fleet at any time, whose deployment is optimized holistically and AI-supported.
Why it was a success
SYNAOS has been cooperating with a German automotive manufacturer since 2018. Here, the SYNAOS Intralogistics Management Platform is used as a control station system. TÜNKERS has been supplying this plant in eastern Germany with car body construction technology for many years. This is how both companies became aware of each other – and quickly realized that a strategic partnership would result in new marketing opportunities and a profitable win-win-win situation for SYNAOS, TÜNKERS and potential customers.
